This startup event is a part of the “Let’s Inspire Bihar” campaign, which aims to establish at least five successful startups in every district of Bihar by 2028. The summit will feature participation from over 250 startups across all districts of Bihar, highlighting the wealth of innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit present in the state. Under the mentorship of Shri Vikas Vaibhav, Senior IPS, this event is not just about competition but collaboration, learning, and growth. The Chief Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Chapter, Shri Mohan Jha Ji, along with Delhi’s Chief Coordinator, Shri Indramohan Yadav Ji, will lead the summit with significant support from the entire Let’s Inspire Bihar (LIB) team.
The core focus of this initiative is to assist startups in securing necessary funding from MSME sources, enhancing infrastructure availability, encouraging technological advancements, attracting skilled manpower, and facilitating crowdfunding opportunities. The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign, initiated on March 22, 2021, champions a vision for a developed Bihar, where access to education, employment, and healthcare is abundant and self-sufficient by the year 2047.
The campaign stands firm on the principles of education, equality, and entrepreneurship, fostering an environment that transcends societal barriers such as casteism, communalism, and gender discrimination. Through these values, the movement has attracted over 1,000,000 individuals dedicated to making meaningful contributions to society. In the last three years alone, more than 1,400 programs have been conducted across Bihar, in major Indian cities, and even abroad. A notable event, the Namaste Bihar Pratham Brihat Jan Samvad, took place in Begusarai on December 10, 2023, drawing over 50,000 participants. Following this, the third Brihat Jan Samvad is scheduled for December 1, 2024, in Sasaram, with additional events planned in Chapra and Hajipur in early 2025.
A major focus of the LIB initiative is to cultivate successful entrepreneurs in Bihar. Recognizing that Bihar is brimming with innovative ideas, the Entrepreneurship Chapter has been established to bridge the gap between ideas and resources. The chapter has successfully recruited over 10,000 entrepreneurs nationwide to mentor and guide emerging startups, thus fostering a supportive environment conducive to success.
Several programs aimed at igniting an entrepreneurial revolution in Bihar have been organized, including startup conferences and the Vibrant Bihar Global Conclave held in 2022 and 2023. Prior notable events such as the Bihar Entrepreneurship Conference in 2021 and Bihar Samvad in 2022 have paved the way for the upcoming conclave. The startup summit on August 25, 2024, in Patna, featured prominent figures such as the Honorable Minister of MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, and the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Shri Nitish Mishra.
The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign has also positively impacted the community by organizing over 200 free health camps through Jeevak Adhyay, benefiting 25,000+ underprivileged individuals. Furthermore, recent discussions in the Advocates Samvad on October 5, 2024, focused on promoting legal reforms crucial for the state’s development.
